Cookies and tracking technologies

A cookie stores information in your browser. Scripts, pixels and embedded content may also send technical information to third parties. Some support the website’s operation; others measure audiences, track advertising performance or run external services.

Making and changing your choice

Trackers that are not strictly necessary require your prior consent unless a valid exemption applies. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and continuing to browse does not constitute consent. You can change your preferences at any time in the panel below or from the “Manage consent” tab at the bottom of each page. Body Expert keeps your choice for six months and then asks you again.

The inventory below reflects the configuration checked on 2 November 2026. Browsers may shorten the durations shown.

• pll_language (Polylang): remembers the website language (French or English). Duration: 1 year. Category: Functional.
• cmplz_* (Complianz; for example cmplz_banner-status, cmplz_consented_services, cmplz_consent_mode, cmplz_functional, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_statistics, cmplz_marketing): records your consent choices and proof of them. Duration: 6 months. Category: Functional.
• _ga (Google Analytics 4): distinguishes browsers from one visit to the next. Duration: 2 years. Category: Statistics.
• _ga_QZ1Q4RXM0K (Google Analytics 4): keeps the session state. Duration: 2 years. Category: Statistics.
• ph_<project identifier>_posthog (PostHog): audience measurement and session recording, in PostHog’s European instance (Frankfurt). Duration: 365 days. Category: Statistics.
• _gcl_au (Google Ads): links an enquiry to the ad click that preceded it. Duration: 90 days. Category: Marketing.
• IDE, test_cookie (Google Ads, doubleclick.net domain): remarketing, and checking that the browser accepts cookies; set depending on browser settings. Duration: 13 months (IDE), 15 minutes (test_cookie). Category: Marketing.

PostHog also stores operating data in your browser’s local storage. It loads only after you accept the “Statistics” category. With that consent, PostHog also records how some visits unfold (pages displayed and actions taken) to help Body Expert improve the website’s usability; input fields and form text are masked in these recordings. The privacy policy states how long they are kept. If you withdraw your consent, its cookie and local data are deleted.

Cookieless audience measurement

Before you make a choice, and if you reject the “Statistics” category, Google Analytics still sends Google cookieless signals under Google’s “advanced” consent mode: the page viewed, the event measured, your consent status and technical connection information. No identifier is stored in your browser in that case. The privacy policy describes these signals, how they are used and how to object to them.

Other external connections

Some website features rely on third-party services that receive your IP address without setting cookies on the bodyexpert.online domain. Google Tag Manager loads the measurement tags. Google reCAPTCHA, loaded on every page, protects the enquiry form and may set a security cookie on the google.com domain. The ipinfo.io service is queried when the form loads to pre-fill the telephone country code, and the jsDelivr network supplies the library for that field. NitroPack delivers the website’s images, stylesheets and scripts.

The Google Maps map on the home page loads only after you accept the “Marketing” category or click on its preview; Google may then set its own cookies. The WhatsApp button opens a conversation in WhatsApp, which applies its own rules. Following an external link takes you to a website with its own privacy choices and policies.
